  •  Independently evaluated and applied engineering techniques, adapting standard procedures such as CSA N.299 and ASME Section III for minor modifications in system and equipment design.

Summer 2020

Internship offer rescinded due to global pandemic of COVID-19

Space Production Quality Engineer 

Successfully interviewed for and selected out of 5000+ engineering applicants from all over the globe by Airbus to be an intern on upcoming projects and spacecrafts. The projects worked on were to be launched into the solar-system in late 2020 in the UK. 

My position as a space production quality engineer included tasks such as (but are not limited to): 

​

  • Producing corrective actions to errors caused on the production line

  •  Providing data analysis (Excel VBA) and generating reports (KPI) in order to be able to improve efficiency 

  • Understanding that EVERYONE in the company is responsible for the QUALITY of the product being produced 
     

These are the skills that I had demonstrated and were recognized by both the Airbus recruiting team and current Airbus quality engineers prior to the commencement of the job. Regrettably, the global COVID-19 pandemic prevented me from completing the internship. The unprecedented circumstances posed significant challenges, as traveling from Canada to the United Kingdom and working there during the summer of 2020 would have posed a considerable risk to my health and safety. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the confidence I have gained in my ability to secure such a competitive internship opportunity. Despite the unforeseen events, I maintain an optimistic outlook on what the future has in store for me.
